Essel Infraprojects Ltd (EIL) of India has won a contract for a large-scale desalination plant at Jodiya, on the Gulf of Kutch, Gujarat. The public-private partnership contract is to design, build, finance, operate, and transfer a seawater reverse osmosis plant and associated infrastructure.
